MediaCom is said to be the first-ever company to introduce an AI-powered system into its customer service module. The system allows users to interact with a virtual customer support technician via a messaging service. The company won an award for this cutting-edge AI tech at the Cablefax Technology Awards in 2019.

Troubleshoot yourself
In instances where your digital TV service is down, you can perform a few basic checks before resorting to customer support. Check the cable cords at the back of the device are connected securely; check that the switches on the remote control or A/B switch is in the ‘Cable’ position and the VCR is set to ‘TV’ mode; check the remote-control batteries to see they’re still working; and lastly check that the power is functional in other electrical devices in your home, if not this might be a power issue.
If the MediaCom internet network is facing an outage, the trouble could be with the wireless router or with your line to MediaCom. First check to see whether other devices in your home are receiving the Wi-Fi signal, like a mobile phone. If yes, try resetting the router to refresh the signals. If you are able to connect to the network but not to the internet, it may be an issue with the MediaCom modem. Try connecting the modem directly into your device. MediaCom Internet down for over 2 hours. 3rd outage this week (Fairhope AL 36532) REAL sick of this. Told if paid xtra due to business from home outages of the service would receive priority. This is not true, it's been worthless.

Eastpoint 32328. Paid the bills and it gives me slow service then a complete outage this is honestly just a pathetic and frustrating thing that continues to happen. This is another blackout that they will see is their fault after blaming me..

Internet completely down in our area. Called support and they told us that a technician won’t be out there until next week. We can’t wait that long! I got a relative working from home and we need that internet BADLY! Fix it now, not later!

Service in Columbus GA is great.....except about every day when it stops working randomly for a couple of hours. Calling their "help" desk is a joke as they just go through the manual on how to reset the modem and then discover there's an outage or schedule a service tech for next week.

Live streaming keeps buffering and disconnecting and I've done ever thing to try to correct the problem and have come to the conclusion the problem is on your end. This has been going on for over two months so just fix the problem. I am beginning to think Mediacom is intentionally slowing down internet speed to force their customers to upgrade their internet service.
