I have not had Long Distance service since Mon. 31st. I cannot make a long distance call. I get that recording. I have been dealing with your company for 9 days and all I get is "we are working on it " HELP !

05079 Vershire, VT Waited on hold 6/2/21 more than 20 minutes for Ray the Internet troubleshooter to talk me through 30 minutes of "try this" to say Consolidated Communications only has to provide 80% of speed and there was NOTHING they would do about my slow connection. It didn't matter that several neighbors were having extremely slow internet, he repeatedly said there was nothing they would do. My reply, "EC Fiber is looking better and better".

I spoke directly with someone at the NOC (Network Operations Center) and they told me that there are some broken fiber optic cables in Winooski VT near Burlington that is the source of the problems. We are affected by this here in East Dover, VT 05341. The issue is currently being worked on and they told me it may take a while to fix (not sure what that means exactly). I can tell you from personal experience, that splicing a single fiber cable takes several minutes, so a large bundle will take much longer.

I just had a renter at my Bar Harbor, Maine house tell me that the internet kept going down and that rebooting the router didn't help. They ended up borrowing a hotspot from the library. Now I am probably going to get a poor rating on Airbnb because of your service or lack thereof.

Farmington, Maine internet speeds <1.0 mbps occurring frequently over past 10 days. Customer service is useless. Something is up with this company.
