Most cell phones have mobile tethering / hotspot. Enabling that from your settings will let your other devices use its data connection like WIFI. Just turn it on and follow the instructions. But keep in mind some plans have a data limit that will turn off or slow down your data after so much is consumed. And streaming on a TV consumes a lot of data.

I’m someone who’s smart enough not to call in during a tri-state internet outage and expect a response. If there are tens of thousands of people without internet, calling in and telling them you don’t have Internet does absolutely nothing but clog up the line. They know there’s a problem when the majority of their entire network goes down. They don’t need Joe Schmoe to call them and tell them about it. It’s a waste of time.

18080 Neffs No internet. Apparently some genius in a car wreck damaged the BRC cables. No estimate on when the miracle-workers at Blue Ridge will get it fixed!

To all the people complaining about Blue Ridge being unresponsive: What the hell do you expect? It’s 10:00PM and the Internet is out EVERYWHERE, including in NY and NJ. If you think you’re going to get through during an outage this massive, you’re an idiot.
