Internet keeps dropping intermittently all week. RCN reps claim is a city wide issue and dont know when problem will be fixed. Do reach out to RCN to provide credit ($15) if you are being affected by outage. Chicago 60653

Washington DC. Internet has been down since 3pm yesterday so over 15 hours now. Estimated remediation time moved from 8pm yesterday to 2am to 7.30am.

Washington, DC 20017: more than 2 weeks of on and off internet. First tech support tells me "disconnect everything and wait 15 minutes then reconnect it". Work great for 2 days. Work great for 2 days then on and off again. At that time they said there's a service outage. The next day everything was fine, then it started coming back once or twice a day, no internet again! Now they're going to send a technician in a week. When I signed up for RCN years ago they were great they supplied a good product they had great tech support they had great customer service and now, they feel more and more like the crappy Comcast service I had and I'm getting ready to change again. You should too.

My location is Washington dc, Chinatown area and RCN SAID THE INTERNET WILL BE RESTORED YESTERDAY BEFORE 4PM APRIL 27TH IT IS NOW THE 28TH AND ALMOST 8AM AND STILL NO INTERNET ACCESS !!! DAMN I CAN'T WAIT TO SWITCH TO COMCAST !!! THIS RCN IS GARBAGE AND YET THEY CHARGE PREMIUM PRICES FOR HORRIBLE SERVICE!

For the past 4-5 days here in DC 20008, I had thought something was wrong with my iPhone, pages just wouldn’t load, etc. ect. I turned off RCN Wi-Fi and went with my carrier’s G5 and all is well. I’m still having problems with streaming services and my business PC (both with direct ethernet cables from the RCN modem) - acting up - badly during serious work. RCN has been very good, until it wasn’t good at all (to mention that they’re threatening to raise the price, and lose the foothold they have gained).
