68048 Plattsmouth Kathy thank you for the information. Dumping DSL customers with no warning or explanation is horrible. A lot of rural Nebraskans have limited choice for service and depend on DSL.

To clarify the comment about DSL service, webmail and DSL are two different internet services. Internet Nebraska is discontinuing DSL service for their customers.. The webmail service has been restored and is working now. Lincoln 68510

Lincoln 68512 We too are among Internet Nebraska’s first customers. I never got any kind of notice that they were shutting down. I have tried to call snd left messages several times with no response. I am very disappointed with the lack of customer service and courtesy.

52807 Davenport Iowa I have been with Internet Nebraska for many years. When we moved to Iowa we were still able to keep our webmail which has been very helpful in maintaining communication with long time friends and business associates. To get that message with the yellow box earlier today was rather stunning. By that message it doesn't sound like they're planning to come back up. They are telling us to go to another place and email there. So what would have happened to our email that is now in their box around their system. I know in some cases when my mail comes back from the server to the originator I'm removed from certain databases on the other end. I suppose it because they're afraid something is wrong that may affect their system. But the results of that could be very bad! Thanks for the information below and hopefully this will resolve itself soon or they're going to have a lot of very angry people

I reached out to the people who have the servers in their building and they said that a contractor had accidentally cut a main internet fiber yesterday afternoon on a nearby construction site and that internet nebraska should be back online later today or tomorrow once all repairs have been made to the fiber. ... 68845 kearney

The Internet error message says the DNS domain cannot be found. There could be a problem with the domain certificate (expired, fee not paid, etc.) Does anyone know the IP address for Internet Nebraska? If the inebraska servers are working, the IP address should still work. 68510 Lincoln

Internet Nebraska servers disappeared from the net 24 hours ago. The only clue has been a full voice mail box with a message that "they are working on it". The once stellar customer service has gone into the toilet over the past year or so. Should have seen this coming. I have a bad feeling about this. 68502 Lincoln NE.

All their servers are down. I've been with this company since they bought out beatricene.com back in the early 2000s. I've continued to pay for email hosting from them for almost 20 years. Last communication I had with an employee said they didn't know where their manager/owner was and to get an email elsewhere. Sounds like it was starting to crash and burn. 17 weeks ago from now, there was 3 week outage and it suddenly started working again. This time, it's been a full 24 hours and ALL their servers are down - everything!
