Here on Daniel Island (29492) it’s now been over 72 hours without internet. Even using cellular on my phone, I can’t go to webmail.homesc.com to check my email, as that’s down as well. So frustrated. Always been happy with HT’s internet service but they need to get this fixed…..NOW. 3+ days with no internet and no email is just ridiculous.

DSN work around not working now either. Having to go to work to get internet to submit work for my grad class. I understand that things happen but in the coming weeks hometelecom is going to really show what kind of company they are when this is over. Hope they make some good decisions.

29450 (Huger).... I work from home and haven't had internet since Wednesday, and I'm almost maxed out on using my phone's hotspot. I'm losing money because of this outage. I expect all of us to get reimbursed on our monthly bill.

HT tech told someone in our community in Cane Bay (Summerville) that the problem is being caused by a DDoS attack. DDoS attacks are when a group of computers or bots overwhelm a network to bring it down or make it so slow as to be unusable. Service has been bad going on 4 days now. HT should invest in software and its IT professionals to avoid this.

Hsrleyville 29448 no internet at all for 2 days. Message says slow to intermittent connectivity issues but there is NO internet and there hasn’t been any since mid day on Thursday. No one will answer at any home telecom office. Have tried calling since 9 AM. It’s 8 PM HAVENT TALKED TO A OERSON YET.

Denial of service attack cleanup still going on according to home telecom. They are working on it to prevent.

Home telecom is the best. Yes I have no internet but its forced me to clean up the house and go outside to look at the tress. Thank you home telecom. Your service may suck but I did get my house clean.
