No trucks anywhere. My wire is down from the pole. Reported a week ago or more. No trucks to be scene 33952 or at least nowhere near my neighborhood. Hope they don't plan on charging us for service this month. I call bullshit on their excuses. Has anyone contacted the FTC to turn up the heat? This is ridiculous and if you work from home....becoming very damaging. Get it together Comcrap.

My husband works from home and I have an online business and two Vrbos. My guests want to know what’s going on with the internet in Punta Gorda, and Harbor Heights. We want to know what’s going on with the internet in Peace River Shores. FLORIDA we have heard NOTHING from you on status! I would never disrespect my customers like this.

33993 Cape Coral power has been down for more than two weeks now. I have gotten my power back a week ago since then. Also, a wire connecting the house to the power lines is down but doesn't appear to be damaged.

33952 still no internet and no contact for the down line in the yard. I wish someone would come fix this before someone ends up injured because of this downed line.

Be nice to get to at least talk to someone. Just want information on when we might get it back on, or even to let you know that it is out. How do we do that if we can not get ahold of anyone.

I'm in port charlotte 33952 Had water the whole time, have power for almost a week, no internet since 9/28/22 due to Ian. Haven't even seen an xfinity truck anywhere!!! They don't take your calls, instead there is a bot that you cannot get anywhere. We pay good money for Xfinity services and think they should have updated equipment to use in these situations, What is the problem Xfinity??? Can you give us a month or 2 of free services for this inconvenience???

Punta Gorda, 33982. My area has had power since Sunday(almost a week). Poles are up all the way to my community. Why is it taking so long for Xfinity to start working again. My business and my GF depend on wiFi. If it continues much longer I will be check out other options for wiFi

33967 Have power and water, but still no Internet since 9/28. I get that with the hurricane, outages were inevitable, but nor am I at ALL surprised that Internet would be by far the last service to be restored, lol. Call yourselves Xfinity now or even the savior of all mankind if you want. You're still Comcrap to me. Day 9 and counting and I know they're going to fail their estimate of back on by midnight tonight. There had better be a 1/3 reduction in my bill.

I haven't had Xfinity Internet since 09/28/2022. Today is day EIGHT. Now, we had a hurricane come through, and Xfinity can't be on the poles until FPL clears them. Some areas have complete devastation but not where I am. We had no power 09/28 - 10/2. I am aware of the challenges Xfinity is facing in my general area. What I don't excuse, is the complete lack of any information. NOTHING since before September 28th. Xfinity/Comcast - you need to COMMUNICATE with your customers!

34238 internet still down. Xfinity conveniently has stopped sharing the outage maps and no websites to be found to help. Reports of At&t actually texting and emailing customers affected and free of charge for this outage. Looks like well be switching. Customers over 20 years here and treated like dirt.

Everything is still down in zip 34135. During the hurricane, power never went down in my condo and the internet was up and running up until Wednesday evening and has yet to come back. People up the road with Frontier have internet, but yet xfinity can't even provide an update. 3 days and counting. This is ridiculous

This is becoming ridiculous. We haven't had internet access for 24hrs now. We were barely effect by hurricane Ian. I don't understand why we don't have internet access. Power is on. Comcast needs to get it together. There's sunshine outside, no winds and rain. Its a beautiful day here in Vero Beach FL 32962.

Internet was down for almost the whole day on Aug 25th, Sep 3rd and today Sep 6th, in Fremont Area of California. And these outages were not informed outages, and customer service's estimated time is always few hours.

About Xfinity

Steps to take during an Xfinity outage

In today's world, we rely on technology more than ever before. So what do you do when Xfinity by Comcast has an outage? We've put together a list of steps to take to make sure you stay connected.

1. Stay calm and do not panic

If you experience an Xfinity outage, the first thing you should do is stay calm. Don't panic, as this will only make the situation worse. This also happens with other providers such as Cox or Charter Communications for example. Instead, take a deep breath and follow these steps:

1. First, check to see if there is an official outage in your area. You can do this by visiting the Xfinity website or checking their social media channels.

2. If there is an outage, call Xfinity customer service at 1-800-XFINITY (1-800-934-6489).

3. Customer service will be able to help you troubleshoot the issue and get your service up and running again as quickly as possible.

2. Check social media for updates

When an Xfinity outage occurs, checking social media for updates can be a great way to stay informed. Xfinity's official Twitter and Facebook accounts are the best place to look for real-time updates about service outages. You can also check local news pages or other community forums to see if others in your area are experiencing similar problems. By keeping an eye on these platforms, you can gain valuable insight into the cause of the outage and when it is likely to be resolved. Additionally, if you need help troubleshooting your service during an outage, you can often find helpful advice from other customers on these platforms as well.

3. Restart your router or modem

If you're experiencing an Xfinity outage, there are a few steps you can take to try and fix the issue. One of those steps is restarting your router or modem. This can often help clear up any minor issues and get your service back up and running. To do this, simply unplug your router or modem for 30 seconds and then plug it back in. Once it's been restarted, check to see if your service has been restored.

4. Use a backup plan

When an Xfinity outage occurs, having a backup plan in place can help keep you connected. If you have access to another internet service provider, such as a mobile data connection or a satellite internet provider, you may be able to use those services as alternatives until your Xfinity service is restored. Additionally, many providers offer their own backup plans that provide limited connectivity during outages.

It’s also helpful to have some form of Wi-Fi hotspot or wired connection available if possible. This could include using your smartphone as a Wi-Fi hotspot or plugging into an ethernet cable if available. While these methods will not provide the same speeds or reliability of your Xfinity service, they can still be helpful in keeping you connected during an outage.

By taking proactive steps and having a backup plan in place, you can minimize the disruption caused by an Xfinity outage and ensure that you stay connected even when faced with unexpected network issues.
