Troubleshooting yourself
If your Wi-Fi is giving you problems

First outage about a week ago, 7/18/22. Service was off and on, and their phone service person said we need a new router. I installed a brand-new-in-the-box Centurylink router 7/23/22. Worked fine, then service went out 7/24/22 about 7:00 PM. Could not even get the DSL light. This morning, 7/25/22, 6:00 AM we have service again. I canceled our service appt (first available was 12 days out) when the new router was working.

Internet has been out since Tuesday and I can't get Centurylink to tell me what is going on. Chatted with support who said the issue is out in the network somewhere and is estimated to be out for at least a couple of days as it was reported to be a "complex issue". They took my email address to keep me informed of the progress but absolutely nothing yet received of any kind two days later.

Went down on the 12th hasn't come back yet. After hours of waiting on the phone i ended up chatting with somebody on the other side of the world who couldn't figure anything out and can send someone Saturday..... Its monday now....best part ill need to be here between 815 am to 715 pm to wait on the tech......... Omaha ne 68138

Internet in Portland has been down going on day 2. I called and was on hold for 1 hour before a human answered and was told it would be on last night. Obviously not true. I asked for a partial refund and CenturyStink offered me less than $7. I work from home and missed all afternoon on Tuesday all morning on Wednesday and all of Friday. This is not acceptable I will have to look for a new provider

My internet has been down since last Wednesday morning. Plus, it went out the week before for a full 24 hours. Internet is not working as of today. I work at home and this is unacceptable! Made two appointments and technician has not shown up twice! Supposedly one is coming out tomorrow. I'll believe it when I see it. Angry in area code 80534 Colorado.
