Lubbock Texas, been a customer for 6 years, and they keep raising the bill, started with $50 a month, now paying $86 a month, for the lowest bandwidth! Internet on/off for 4+ days, and they had no record of it. I told them to cancel my account, and suddenly they credit me with a free month, and lower my bill back to $50 a month, with much higher bandwidth added. That is just crooked! Plus, they can never keep the service working properly, always dropping out. DON'T USE THIS ISP! Finally, there are many choices in the rural internet market, choose a different provider, NOT RISE BROADBAND!

Internet service with Rise Broadband is a "lesser of evils" choice. There is NO customer service except during "banker's hours", and there is NO outage mapping unless you can call their hotline. Seriously waiting for anyone but Hughsnet to cover my area.

My internet bill never arrives on time. Always when I have a past due balance. The price always changes. It always goes out on the weekends and there’s no where I can find to report it. I don’t know my account login info and they never help me find it. I have to call to pay the bill. 61734 Delavan Illinois.

79407 Lubbock tx. Internet is out...again. 2 days now was told it would be back up at 6pm yesterday that didn't happen. I work from home and this continued issue is putting my job at risk. Does anyone know of a Reliable internet in my area? I can't continue to waist money on this joke of a service it's out more and more often and never ever get credited for the down time.

Rise Broadband is NOT reliable in the evenings and on weekends. Working from home has been a challenge to say the least. When the drop outs occur everything freezes up, sometimes it comes back, sometimes we reboot the modem and router, sometimes that works, most of the times it doesn't. Their equipment must be outdated and kept up to speed, we are NOT getting what we pay for, speed tests are around 4.7 Mbs download, and about 1 Mbs for up load. We are supposed to be getting 20 Mbs download, and 3-5 Mbs for upload. NOT happening! Remote desktop and VPN don't like that those issues. Switching to NextLink at the end of the month to see if that is any better and get what we are paying for. Hoping StarLink might be better? Not sure VPN will work with StarLink.

For a week now internet has been more erratic than before. It’s always been sporadic instability but this last week the only time I have any internet is 5 a.m. from there is drops. My speed check pings at 43ms my download is .88mbs or lower and upload is usually at 0. I have called tech support only to be on hold for hours at a time. When I do speak to anyone I get the well unplug this and that a restart. Doesn’t work!!!! If other options were any better I’d change companies but have yet to find any in our area that delivers quality broadband. Lubbock 79403

84651 Well this is the third day we have gotten the run around from Rise! it goes back on at 9pm and then goes off at 7 am. Did they get hacked they say a lot of states are having the same issue... We will be leaving Rise because of a lot of issues with service.

Internet is down again, I see were rise broadband has posted that a fiber line has been cut, they always have an excuse, Will probably be out the rest of the night it’s 8:30 right now who knows maybe they’ll get it working by Saturday, They need to build in some redundancies in their network, I guess they don’t know about that. Starlink.com can’t get here fast enough.

Rise Broadband goes down at night, and most certainly on the weekends, it works durning the week because I believe there resetting there network equipment all the time. Someone told me a few months back that their network was overloaded and they shut it down or reboot it to kick people off. I’m not sure why they just don’t fix their network, you can look online yourself at a lot of the reviews and see all the trouble people are having with them just don’t believe this review here, I would not recommend them, I know for some people it’s probably their only option, I will try to look at a cellular hotspot or something, definitely do not sign up with them under a contract. They will not take the blame or responsibility for their system being down if you call them they will try to blame it on your equipment . Maybe Starlink.com will be available soon for everyone then you can dump companies like Rise broadband that won’t fix their service, plus it is real slow also at times when it is working, just tired of bad service and company is not doing what they should . 73439

It’s will be like this always, there network is overloaded, everyone’s best bet may be Starlink.com, zip codes, 76273, 74701, rise is always going down, or is super slow, it’s a waste of money.

Crap service. Internet constantly goes down. They have no answers for me. They schedule someone to come out who never shows up. $115 a month for 7-11 MB download speed.
