No voice service 9/17. Came home at 4:45pm, no dial tone is what I discovered after trying to call someone. 2-3 weeks ago we had neither voice or internet. Whole town was out for 2 days, so no 911 either and you had to drive out of town to get cell signal to a tower. I cry fowl. The FCC needs to fine the crap out of CL. THEY ARE NOT PROVIDING RELIABLE SERVICE. Why have a phone if I can not use it, but especially in an emergency? 80302

55130 St. Paul, MN. Internet went out last Friday, 8/11 during the storm that rolled through 5:30-6:00 p.m. It's now THURSDAY, 8/17, and my internet is still out (I have a landline with CenturyLink and it's fine). Can't get any answers from CL. I call every day and end up in the automated system which acknowledges there is an outage in my area. On Monday, the first day I called, the outgoing message said it would be fixed by 4:00 p.m. that day and I would be notified by a call to my landline. Wasn't up by 5:30 p.m. so I called the 800 # (I now have that memorized) and got another message again acknowledging the outage and that it would be fixed by 5:00 p.m. Tuesday. Big surprise--no internet by the Tuesday deadline. I called Wednesday morning shortly after 8:00 a.m. and same thing except this time the message said CL was aware of the outage and it would be fixed as soon as possible (CL apparently has given up on providing a definite date). I called two more times, trying to get through to a live person because I wanted to know (1) how many customers have been affected; (2) what caused the outage; and (3) why is it taking so long to fix it. CL makes it virtually impossible to talk to a live person. I called a fourth time and selected the option about paying my bill as I figured I might get through to a live person. I did but it wasn't easy. I ended up talking to a guy with such a heavy accent that I had a hard time understanding him. He couldn't tell me anything--said I'd have to talk to someone in Tech and then transferred me. I talked to a female who also had a very heavy accent. Even though she was in Tech, the only thing she could tell me was that there were multiple customers affected. My service wasn't back up yesterday so I called again this morning and got the same automated message that technicians were working on the issue. No timeframe given for when to expect it would be back up. So, I'm now on day six with no internet. I've been going to the library each day to at least keep up with my e-mail. Can't do any online banking (I pay most of my bills electronically from my bank) since my internet is down. I will have to write checks if it's not up in the next couple of days. Once my service is back up, I will be calling CL and demanding that my bill be reduced for the time my internet was down. I will also be looking for another service provider. I might end up going back to Comcast. What is most frustrating is that CL is not the least bit transparent about what is going on.

Once again.. Centurylink is down in Papillion Nebraska. Was working at 7:45.. then at 8;00 am.. down. Down all day despite multiple modem reboots. Tje past 3 weeks have been horrible. Have had to reboot the modem about every other day.. now this... and today is the ones day i was allowed to work from home.. can't wait for Allo fiber to get here!

97402. Figureitout, Anystate, USA. Said there was an outage that would be fixed 11 minutes ago, my time. No phone, no internet. No communication. Offshore helpdesk wasn't particularly helpful, just like old Qwest used to be. Plan to call and talk to onshore call center. Likely tweakers stole the wires, but terrible customer service on this issue. Was better than dealing with Comcast for several months. Hopefully fiber optic is available soon...

27525 No phone, no internet since early afternoon 1/19/2023. CenturyLink status page says to check back again today (hasn't changed since yesterday). Nothing on their Twitter page. Where is the communication information about this big "maintenance" outage they're doing in the middle of the day on multiple weekdays?

Service went out in the wee hours of Monday morning. Here it is Wednesday night and still nothing. No updates, which I signed up for, no explanation, and no information on why or for how long. Landline goes down for hours once a week all phones have been checked, a new line was run in the yard in June. I have had this phone for many years and it never went out until may of this year. In westminster
